The Most Welcoming Place I've Ever Stayed! As the name of this hotel states, this is a LGBT resort, so before arriving, I wondered if I would feel awkward since I'm a straight girl. You know, "One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong...." (Sesame Street song!). Immediately upon arriving, I was made to feel not only welcomed, but also a treasured guest. Throughout my week stay I got to know most of the staff by first names and never went a day without someone making sure that my time there was enjoyable. Personal attention and fine detail separate this hotel from any other I've stayed. No cookie-cutter rooms here, as each room has it's own unique and tasteful interior decor. A well stocked kitchen and a very comfortable bed (I'm like the Princess and the Pea so bed comfort is a must!) further added to my positive experience. The roof top is super inviting with a beautiful view of the ocean sunset and the pool and hot tub are just the right size for an intimate gathering of friends. If all this wasn't enough, my room was literally steps away from what I called, "My own private beach." I know, I know, I was quite spoiled!
