Ocean View Penthouse

From $399 night

In the newest building on the property at Maui Sunseeker, the Ocean View Penthouse suite boasts the latest in tropical style.

It is the new favorite suite for many of our repeat and first-time guests alike — both of whom are booking their vacations up to a year in advance.

Love to cook? The fully appointed and stocked gourmet kitchen is perfect for entertaining or just absolute immersion into gay Maui life. Dine outside on your own private lanai, located on the main floor, as you watch the sun sink slowly behind the South Pacific. The plush California king bed is nestled in a loft with a luxurious bathroom, complete with a Jacuzzi tub, and a top-floor lanai where you can see sweeping views from Haleakala down to the ocean.

The living room sleeper sofa fits a queen mattress, but if you want even more comfort for that second couple or friends traveling together, adjoining standard room 422 can be opened to combine with the penthouse into an amazing two-bedroom suite. For a reduced rate on both rooms, just rent room 420 and let the party in gay paradise begin! Rates from $399 depending on season and availability.

Spent four lovely nights in the Penthouse suite at this friendly and well appointed hotel. The suite overlooks the beach and has its own Jacuzzi right on the lanai so you can soak and watch the stars. Includes a comfortable king sized futon type bed, jetted tub and large shower amply stocked with towels, dressing room, full kitchen and dining area, living room with DVD and cable. Audio was disc only - we wished for an ipod input but that was the only flaw (will bring a mini cable next time)! Around the back there's an area full of beach chairs, snorkels, masks and boogie boards for loan plus a laundry facility. The beach is across the street which meant cars going by, but it really quieted down at night. Staff provided maps to other beaches and happy to help book extra tours etc. I liked that it was reasonably close to shops and restaurants - but not too close! Also there are a few farm stands nearby to stock up on papayas and fresh veggies. Although it is an LBGT resort, everyone is welcome.
